Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion will draw fresh inspiration from their continued service to the Body of Christ in this three-part series. In session one, participants will deepen their understanding of Christ’s Real Presence and consider how their own participation in the liturgy is a source of personal transformation in their lives. Session two offers further reflection on their ministry at Mass, offering spiritual and practical guidance aimed at preparing extraordinary ministers to administer Communion in a prayerful manner. Reflecting on the words spoken by the minister to each communicant (“The Body of Christ,” “The Blood of Christ”), session three invites participants to consider the ways that their ministry—to bring Christ’s presence to others—extends beyond the liturgy into everyday life.

Our Virtual Workshops are conducted on Adobe Connect, a web-based online meeting platform. Participants are asked to utilize a computer for these virtual workshops and to download the desktop application prior to their session.
