Lectors use preparation, prayer, and proclamation to draw the attention of the listener into the Word of God. This Virtual Workshop series goes beyond the basics of reading and offers strategies to help refine your ministry as a lector. In addition, you will have the opportunity to coach others, and be coached, as you develop skills in providing feedback in this ministry. Both seasoned and new lectors are welcome.
Those who participated in last year’s Beyond Reading series will go even deeper into their practice, while first-time participants will gain skills to immediately transform their proclamation.
Our Virtual Workshops are conducted on Adobe Connect, a web-based online meeting platform. Participants are asked to utilize a computer for these virtual workshops and to download the desktop application prior to their session. If you use a mobile device (phone or tablet), LTP’s tech team will be unable to assist you.
